Audits & Confidentiality
Audit
Process
All
documents supporting eligibility to sit for the examination are evaluated by
the testing corporation in conjunction with the standards set forth by the
Certification Board.
Renewal candidates are randomly selected by the testing corporation
for audit twice a year. Candidates selected for audit are sent a letter by the
testing corporation notifying them to submit documentation supporting their
continuing education and/or points of credit. The testing corporation is
notified upon audit verification to release the renewal documents.
Confidentiality
& Security of Records
Upon
request the Certification Board will verify the initial certification of a
candidate as well as the date of renewal. Any
disciplinary action will also be disclosed if a suspension and/or revocation of
the CNLCP designation has been imposed.
Confidentiality statements are signed by board members, contractors
of the board including the testing corporation. Agreements are signed by all
new members and new contractors.
