Wondering when to consult with a vocational rehabilitation when writing a NLCP?  Join us as Dr. Mary Barros-Bailey discusses the role of a voc rehab planner, how to recommend evaluations and services to maximize the independence of the injured client.

Attendees will:
* Identify the scope of practice for rehabilitation counselors for vocational and avocational services in clinical and forensic cases.
* Articulate criteria important to determining the need for rehabilitation counseling services in a case.
* Discuss case scenarios involving need for rehabilitation counseling in life care planning.


About the presenter:
Mary Barros-Bailey, PhD, CRC, CLCP, D/ABVE is a bilingual rehabilitation counselor, vocational expert, and life care planner based out of Boise.

She often research, publishes, and presents nationally and international on professional issues. Dr. Barros-Bailey is adjunct teaching and clinical supervision faculty in the graduate rehabilitation counseling program at the University of Idaho and also with Winona State University’s Child Advocacy Studies program.
