Ready to dive deep into a kidney transplant case study?  Join Ruth Pierce RN, Transplant Quality Consultant for Part 2 of Transplant Costs and your NLCP.   In Part 1, we learned about the organizations in the transplant world, how changes in allocation rules impact the calculation of costs and the effect of escalating drug prices on projecting transplantation pricing.

Part 2 will focus on the kidney transplant, the most common solid organ transplant.  We will learn about the resources available, common post transplant medication regimes, and common post transplant complications.  With this knowledge you will be able to identify the costs associated with a kidney transplant when projecting pricing for the recipient.

Attendees will:
* Have a basic knowledge of transplant resources available to Life Care Planners.
* Have knowledge of the government involvement and payment for ESRD.
* Have a basic knowledge of kidney post-transplant medication regimen and associated cost.

* Be familiar with common post-transplant complications and associated costs.
