SALT LAKE CITY (October 26, 2023) – American Association of Nurse Life Care Planner

The American Association of Nurse Life Care Planners (AANLCP®) is a nonprofit specialty organization founded in 1997 that has historically been dedicated to the professional enhancement of registered nurses practicing in the life care planning field. The AANLCP is a resource for its members by providing opportunities for continuing education, research, and standards related to the practice of Life Care Planning.

The AANLCP is excited to have expanded its scope and now welcomes professionals from numerous other disciplines, including but not limited to physical therapists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, social workers, vocational rehabilitation specialists, rehabilitation counselors, professional counselors, chiropractors, physician assistants, and medical doctors to become a member of the AANLCP. All members receive voting rights, educational opportunities, access to the AANLCP listserv, and many other benefits that support the life care planning expert.

“Our members will benefit from collaborating with other professionals in the life care planning field. Our association is proactive and provides opportunities that enable its members to continue being life care plan leaders.” Misty Coffman, President, American Association of Nurse Life Care Planners.

AANLCP is excited to further promote education, collaboration, research, and collegiality among a community of life care planners from many professional backgrounds. For more information on Premier and Basic Membership, please visit aanlcp.org
